Procedures Before Starting Construction;
- Before starting the construction, it is necessary to apply to the Regional Directorate with the required documents and obtain a Building Permit. Constructions started without a Building License are treated as illegal construction. (In the 1st paragraph of Article 184 of the Turkish Penal Code No. 5237, it is stated that "A person who constructs or has a building built without obtaining a building license or in violation of the license is sentenced to imprisonment from one year to five years." required)
- In order to obtain a Building License, it is necessary to apply to our Regional Directorate together with the projects and other documents attached to the petition.
- Construction should be done in accordance with the projects with this license and its annex, by obtaining the Building Permit.
- The duration of these licenses is 3 years.
- For the constructions that are not completed within 3 years, it is necessary to obtain a Building Permit again.
Actions to be Taken After the Construction is Finished;
- After the construction is completed, a Building Occupancy Permit (Residential License) must be obtained before the Building License expires.
- For the Building Occupancy Permit (Housing License), an application is made to our Regional Directorate with the required documents.
- Upon the application, after the technical staff of our region checks whether the construction is done in accordance with the projects or not, a Building Occupancy Permit (Residential License) is issued if it is deemed appropriate.
