Electricity Operations Directorate


  1. Our Regional Directorate has obtained the OIZ Electricity Distribution License from the Energy Market Regulatory Authority with the license number ED-OSB/1344-4/972 dated 18.10.2007; OIZ carries out electricity distribution activities and other related services within our approved limits as per this license. These activities are mainly;

  2. To comply with the provisions of the Regulation on Electricity Market Activities of Organized Industrial Zones (http://www.epdk.gov.tr/web/ Elektrik-piyasasi-dairesi/34) and relevant legislation,

  3. To comply with the provisions of other legislation required by the activity under the license,
  4. To supply electrical energy to its participants within its approved borders,
  5. To carry out the necessary renovation and expansion investments, as well as the operation and maintenance of the distribution facilities,
  6. Electrical energy; To take all kinds of measures to present it to its participants in an efficient, high quality, uninterrupted and reliable manner and to prevent loss and leakage,
  7. Making accruals and collections by checking the measuring circuits and reading the meter indices,
  8. To provide its participants with distribution services consisting of connection and system usage services without discriminating between equal parties and to meet the participants' requests for connection to the OIZ distribution system and system usage, taking into account their right to access the system,
  9. To submit to the Authority the opinion requested by the Authority on whether it is possible to connect the generation facilities to be established by obtaining a license in order to engage in electricity generation activities to the OIZ distribution system, together with its justifications, within the period specified in the relevant legislation,
  10. To supply electrical energy to its participants, who are eligible consumers who are within the OIZ approved borders and cannot supply electrical energy and/or capacity from another supplier,
  11. In terms of its participants; To provide the appropriate infrastructure for electricity generation, distribution and other services in order to establish and maintain an efficient, stable and economic system,
  12. To prepare demand forecasts for the OIZ distribution region within the scope of this license and to inform the distribution company and/or TEIAS, in accordance with the provisions of the Regulation on Electric Energy Demand Forecasts published in the Official Gazette dated 4.4.2006 and numbered 26129,
  13. To provide the necessary ancillary services economically and reliably within the framework of connection and system usage agreements and Ancillary Services Regulation,
  14. Keeping the records of the participants in the OIZ distribution region and eligible consumers who obtain electricity and/or capacity from other suppliers, recording peak demands, monitoring the meter records and providing the necessary information within the framework of the Electricity Market Balancing and Settlement Regulation published in the Official Gazette dated 3.11.2004 and numbered 25632. and documents; to the Market Financial Settlement Center in the format required by the relevant legislation,
  15. To present a standard contract to its participants,
  16. To provide the necessary assistance, services and information and not to direct the participants who have gained the right to be eligible consumers to any supplier in case the participants who have gained the right to be eligible consumers want to change their suppliers, to limit their annual consumption within the framework of the Electricity Market Eligible Consumer Regulation published in the Official Gazette dated 4.9.2002 and numbered 24866. to notify the participants about this situation,
  17. Notifying the Authority in writing, within seven working days from the occurrence of the event, of the events that prevent or hinder the continuation of the activities under the license, the effects of these events on the activities under the license, the measures taken to reduce or eliminate these effects, and under which conditions and time the effects can be completely eliminated,
  18. To keep its facilities, legal books and records ready for inspection within the framework of the provisions of the relevant legislation, to open them for inspection when requested, and to provide the Authority with all kinds of information and documents that it may need in order to carry out its activities,
  19. To sign connection and/or system usage agreements if the reasons for the negative opinion about the connection to the OIZ distribution system and the use of the system are not deemed appropriate by the Board due to the fact that they are not based on objective technical criteria as a result of the examination made or commissioned by the Authority,
  20. Not to give false and misleading information about the accessibility of the OIZ distribution system and electrical power cuts or cuts,
  21. To make the electrical energy provided as a free consumer for the use of its participants and to carry out other related services,
  22. To be able to supply electrical energy and/or capacity from the most economical source,
  23. As determined in the Regulation on the Electricity Market Activities of Organized Industrial Zones, to prepare the OIZ Distribution Fee proposal, which will be applied annually within the approved limits, by the end of October every year and submit it to EMRA's approval,
  24. OIZ applies the distribution price to all its participants without discrimination between equal parties,
